1. Bodies…The Exhibition

The Bodies exhibit showcases 13 whole-body specimens and 260 organs and partial specimens up close and personal in this exhibit at the Luxor. The bodies and organs have undergone polymer preservation, which hardens the specimens and keeps them from decaying. You can also find displays of the nervous system, digestive system, as well as the stages of fetal development. The exhibit is such a profound experience that many visitors credit it with their ability to change their lifestyle habits and prevent disease.

2. Mob Museum

The Mob Museum chronicles the notorious rise and fall of the mob in America. The museum is in downtown Vegas in a 41,000-square-foot building that gives you an interactive history of famous gangsters. It has tons of mob artifacts, including belongings of Al Capone, Frank Rosenthal, and others. You can listen to real conversations in the museum’s wiretapping station and see the courtroom of the first televised mob-related event, the Kefauver hearings.

3. Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

The Titanic was a famous ship liner back in its day and met a tragic end on its maiden voyage. This exhibit in the Luxor holds over 300 real artifacts taken from the shipwreck and accurate replicas of parts of the ship, like the Grand Staircase. Each visitor is given a passport of a real Titanic passenger who they can discover either lived or died at the end of the exhibit. The personal effects of passengers and actual stories of survivors make this a somber but informative exhibit of the late ship.
