Here is a list of 10 things you can do near Mandalay Bay

1)        Explore The Shark Reef Aquarium

The Shark Reef Aquarium is an extremely popular place to explore in Mandalay Bay. It is home to over two thousand varieties of underwater beings including piranhas, giant rays, sharks and green sea-turtles. The aquarium offers interactive sessions such as the Animal Encounters program, where you can experience the life of an aquarist as you get to touch and feed the animals; and an opportunity to dive with sharks.

The timings for the aquarium are from 10 am to 8 pm on Sunday to Thursday, and 10 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday.

2)        Unravel The Mystery of The Trapped! Escape Room Las Vegas

Escape rooms are the new age fun adventure activity to do with your group of friends and family where the participating group is locked in a room and they have to solve riddles, puzzles and put together clues to find a way to get out of the room in a specified time. With Trapped! Escape Rooms Las Vegas, you will get a surreal experience that you will surely remember for a long time to come. A winner of the ‘Best Overall Escape Room Award’ and finalists in the Favorite Venue contest of 2019, this place should be on your must-do list during your Vegas vacation. A minimum of 2-3 participants and maximum of 8-10 participants are required to join any of the escape rooms, and there are different themes of rooms available that you can browse and book online. The lowest recommended age limit is 12-years as some rooms could have a few horror elements in them.

3)        Experience The Minus5° Ice Bar

This unique ice bar is one of the coolest places you will come across in Las Vegas, literally! As the name suggests, everything here is made up of ice, so you can explore some amazing ice sculptures and have a chilled out time with your family and friends in this wonderland. There is a fully equipped lounge with foosball and ping-pong tables where you can unwind after having your Ice Experience.

The bar is open from 11 am to 1 am on Sunday to Thursday, and 11 am to 2 am on Friday and Saturday.

4)        Immerse in The Michael Jackson ONE Performance by Cirque du Soleil

This show is something you would have never experienced before. Even if you are not a huge Michael Jackson fan, this is journey you shouldn’t miss. Reviewed by Rolling Stone as a medley of ‘wow’ moments, Cirque du Soleil has choreographed a fascinating performance by a team of 63 artists, fusing aerial dance and acrobatics, with hip hop. The vocals and music of Michael Jackson elevates the show and creates magic for the audience.

The show is presented on Thursday to Monday from 7 pm to 9:30 pm.

5)        Let Loose on The Mandalay Bay Beach

The Mandalay Bay Beach is a major tourist attraction with its unique Wave pool, and its 2,700 tons of sandy shore. A perfect place for couples, families and group of friends, this beach has loungers, day-beds, cabanas, private villas, shops, and restaurants all around. You can sun bathe or chill in the shade, play games on the sand or have a scrumptious meal in any of the bars, whatever you chose to do, you will definitely feel like you are at your personal beach!

Even if you are not staying at the Mandalay Beach resort you can access the beach by paying a fee, from Monday to Thursday.

6)        Dance Through The Night at The LIGHT

The LIGHT in Las Vegas is a 38,000 square feet lavish, high end nightclub which has a capacity to accommodate more than 2000 people at a time. There are VIP tables available on the premises which is an option you can select if you are trying to impress your clients or just wish to take your celebration a notch up. Boasting of featured artists such as Rick Ross, T-Pian, Jeezy, London on the Track, DJ Neva, J-Nice and DJ E-Rock, this place offers one of the most happening musical experiences in Vegas. They even provide special discounts for private events and group parties.

The night club is open on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10:30 pm to 4 am.

You can unwind and relax in the world-class 30,000 square feet Mandalay Spa, which has a variety of treatments on offer. The facility is open every day for the guests of the resort from 6 am to 7 pm and if you want to get any special treatment done, then the timings are 8 am to 7 pm.

8)        Travel Back in Time With The Titanic Artefact Exhibition

Spanning over 25000 square foot, the Titanic Artefact Exhibition houses more than 200 authentic items from the sunken Titanic, such as an unopened 1900 vintage champagne bottle, smoking room floor-tiles, passenger’s luggage, a Verandah Café window frame, and whistles from the ship. When you visit this display, you get the first hand experience to see recreated rooms that have been furnished by the original manufactures who had done the interiors for the ship. This exhibition has attracted more than twenty-five million people from all over the world, making it one the highest visited exhibitions in history.

The exhibit is open daily from 10 am to 10 pm, where the last admission timing is at 9 pm everyday.

9)        Enjoy a Relaxing Evening at The Eyecandy Sound Lounge

Located amidst the casino floor of Mandalay Bay, the Eyecandy Sound Lounge is right in the heart of the action. Considered to be one of the most popular nightclubs and lounges in Las Vegas, this place has live music and an amazing ambiance.

The lounge follows a casual dress code and is open all days of the week from afternoon 3 pm onwards till 2 am late in the night.

Mandalay Bay is home to a lot of awesome restaurants serving some of the best food you have ever tasted. So much so that you might have to plan two dinners in one night to be able to try out all the options available around.
